What we collect

• The public URL you ask us to scan, plus the HTML and other public files we fetch from it.
• Your email, if you start checkout or subscribe to weekly monitoring.
• Payment details handled by Stripe. We do not store card numbers.
• Basic server logs (IP address, user agent, timestamps) needed to run and secure the service.
• A locale cookie named NEXT_LOCALE so the interface stays in English or French.

How we use it

To generate your audit, unlock paid reports, send transactional emails, bill subscriptions, and keep the product working. We do not sell your data.

Processors

Neon (database), Vercel (hosting), Stripe (payments), Groq (AI report generation), and Resend (email). Some of these process data outside the EEA. Each processes data only to provide this service.

Retention

Scan results are kept so you can reopen your report. Monitoring data is kept while your subscription is active. We delete data on request.

Your rights (GDPR)

Email hello@nitpicky.app to access, correct, or delete your data.

Report links

A report is opened with a random id in the URL. Anyone who has that link can view it. Treat the URL as confidential.
